Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) invites applications from suitably qualified and interested Tanzanians to work in the following advertised posts: 

Position: Accountant Technician II ( 6 Posts) 

Entry Qualifications: 
Applicant must be a Holder of an ordinary/advanced secondary education with ordinary diploma in accounting or ATEC II or its equivalent. Also must be a computer literate. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities. 
· Receiving cash deposits from clients and banking as per supervisor’s instruction. 
· Effecting cash payments to clients. 
· Making records of all transactions and reconcile them with cash balance. 
· Receiving and keeping proper custody of all bills, invoices and other claims pending for payments. 
· Maintaining cheque registers. 
· Preparing petty cash payment vouchers and accounts documents and maintaining accounts records. 
· Issuing receipts and keeping in safe custody all accounts and supporting documents pending audit scrutiny. 
· Keeping records and making follow-ups of all debts from credit clients. 
· Sending all letter and other documents relating to accounts issues to the bank. 
· Performing any other duties related to his/her work as assigned by his/her superior. 

Remuneration 
· Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institute’s salary scale – PGSS 7
