Orthopaedic Technologist II (3 Posts)

Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) invites applications from suitably qualified and interested Tanzanians to work in the following advertised posts: 

Position: Orthopaedic Technologist II (3 Posts) 

Entry Qualification: 
Applicant must be a Holder of Diploma in Orthotics/Prosthetic from any recognized Institution. Also must be registered by the respective regulatory Board/Council. 

Main duties and Responsibilities 
· Advising patients and doctors on related technological issues. 
· Keeping and Maintaining patients’ records 
· Making casts and taking measurement as instructed. 
· Fabricating various related appliances. 
· Fitting of patients under the supervision and modification of defective appliance with the guidance of superior staff. 
· Examining patient before undertaking treatment. 
· Advising patient on how to use and maintain artificial limbs and body support devices. 
· Performing any other duties related to his/her work as assigned by his/her supervisor.

· Attractive remunerationpackage in accordance with the Institute’s salary scale – PMGSS 5
