FHI 360 serves more than 60 countries. Currently, we are seeking suitably qualified candidates for 2 positions to serve its OVC program-Pamoja Tuwalee.

The program helps community organizations enhance their ability to provide vulnerable children and their families with comprehensive, sustainable care and support. Children receive services that include educational support, vocational training, community health insurance, psychosocial support, and life skills training, while caregivers participate in programs that help them improve the family`s nutrition, food security, and savings and livelihood.

Job Title: Technical Officer-Monitoring & Evaluation-Dar es Salaam

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for all program districts.
• Works with others at the program`s head office, regional offices and sub grantees to ensure that set objectives are met through assisting compliance to set guidelines, support in data management, analysis, use and reporting.
• Carry out Data Quality Assessment (DQA) for SGs; Conduct data verification to project implementing partners; assist district councils in using the national MVC DMS/HMS for programmatic decision making.
• Assist with reports compilation, data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Social Sciences, Health or Statistics, monitoring and evaluation or related field.
• 3 years relevant experience-including familiarity/knowledge of key monitoring and evaluation concepts; national and international indicators related to MVC.
• Good skills of a trainer/mentor.
• Strong computer skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Experience in planning and facilitating trainings.
• Solid communication skills, both oral and written in English and Kiswahili.
• International NGO experience will be an added advantage.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of time.
