TANZANIA TRAINING FOR INTERNATIONAL HEALTH IFAKARA established 2006 under public private partnership between the ministry of the Health, Novartis Foundations and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. TTCIH aims is to supporting the Tanzania government effort to strengthen human resources
POSITIONS SUMMARY
The executive director is responsible for the Board of Governors/HE is the oversees activities ensure all business goals and objectives are achieved. S’HE is the spokes person of the TTHIC matters retaining to day to day operations
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides executive leadership to the institutions through the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans
- Responsible for driving the growth of TTCIH into the premier institutions, through expansions of courses offering and increase in the enrolments
- Direct developments of policies plans and program of TCIH based on strategic overview of HHCIT and its environment to enable realizations of its mission and vision
- Represents TTICH internally and externally in order to promote awareness and understanding of TTCIH mission, vision objectives, policies and program
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
- Must have attained a PHD in the field of health
- Must have extensive knowledge and working experience in medical educations system not less than 10 years of which 6 must have a senior management level
- A person possessing outstanding management and competence
- A person with excellent for the scholarly, teaching, consultancy publications, and service to the public
- Ability to influence, persuade and build coalitions and networks
