The management of the Tanzania Portland Cement Company Limited Is inviting for applications from ambitious energetic and performance driven individuals to fill in the below position
POSITIONS: MILLS MANAGER
REPORTS TO: PRODUCTIONS MANAGER
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least bachelor degree in chemical and process engineering or equivalent recognized registered institutions
- 2 years experience working in manufacturing cement industry or equivalent
- Must computer literacy and able to communicate In English and Kiswahili
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for optimum utilizations of the mills to achieve productions target
- Responsible for optimum utilizations of all productions resources to achieve all productions targets
- Ensure that there is optimal process performance and good productions efficiency
- Ensure the quality of the cement is meets the set quality requirements
- Liaise with the maintenance department in planning in and maintenance of the machines
- Responsible for providing assistance and support during the shutdown of mills
- Ensure there is good housekeeping and safe working place
- Responsible for overseeing the health safety of both staff and machines productions, quality and cost in order to comply with group standards and the occupational safety and health authority requirement
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned
