Role overview
Organize employers’ forum and job fairs; in collaboration with Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) management, VSO team and advisory committee, She/he will design and develop sustainable mechanism and strategy for Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) on potential employers, will set up the employers’ forum and job fairs between Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) and potential companies and industries in gas relating services. In collaboration with VSO entrepreneurship advisor will develop mechanisms to support VETA graduates for self employability. 
Set-up mechanism to ensure dialogue and referral between VETA centres, including private centres; Facilitates regular meetings between Vocational Education and Training Authority ( VETA) and other vocational private centres for sharing best practices, design mechanisms to create a learning environment between VETA and other vocational centres, proactively he/she identifies all potential meetings to expose VETA into wide coverage of communications.

 Support the design of alumni 
 Strengthen the relationship between VETA graduate employers and VETA 
 Seek to find ways and reasons for un-employment or delay in employment 
 Advise on how VETA can create sustainable carrier services

Skills, qualifications and experience required
Essential qualifications: 
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, business management or social science are required. 
Communication – communicates at various levels depending on the audience and content of message, communicates the rights message, excellent in communication consistency between partners in the project 
Analysis and creative problem-solving – proactive to deliver solutions to challenges, ability to identify the interest of the Enhancing Employment through Vocational Training (EEVT) project and VETA. 
Ability to analyse and quickly grasp the fundamentals of a need. Able to find innovative ways of solving or pre-empting problems. 
Flexibility – ability to be proactive in changing environment of working, works under minimum supervision, 
Desirable: 
Experienced with human resource, recruitment, industry links relations is desirable, experienced on people management and ability to work in a multinationals with flexibilities of cultural differences.

Allowance and accommodation 

All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home. 

VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.

Role overview
The purpose of this placement is to support building the capacity of program owners, project officers and supervisors assigned within the regional health system to coordinate MNCH program design, implementation and evaluation in the region. Ultimately, this position will work to improve the quality and reach of MNCH services and to reduce maternal and neonatal deaths in Kigoma region.

Skills, qualifications and experience required
1.Relevant Degree and/or professional training is desirable 

2.Three years’ experience in reproductive, maternal and child health program/service planning 

3.In-service training design and implementation experience 

4.Experience in conducting needs assessment, and delivering in-service training 

5. Experience with participatory action research, data collection & analysis and M&E 

6. Experience working in a developing country 

7.Experience working in remote regions in primary health care
