We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Administrative Officer, to work within the Office of the Secretary-General, Secretary-General’s Office division.
The Office of the Secretary-General (OSG) is a constituent part of the broader Secretary-General’s Office division. The OSG supports the Secretary-General by coordinating policy advice and support received from the Secretariat's other divisions. The office also provides professional and administrative support to assist the Secretary-General carry out his/her duties.
The successful candidate will support the Office Manager and provide corporate support office-based activities in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General. In line with our staff policies and regulations, the post holder must at all times adhere to all policies on confidentiality and handling sensitive information
To be considered, you will need a degree in business administration, social science or an equivalent, and a project management certification. You will need at least five years of demonstrated administrative experience, as well as experience in undertaking research and presentations. You will also need to have excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also a requirement.
