Programme Summary
To acquire relevant technical knowledge, practical skills, and experience, in coordinating and
managing process plant operations.
To develop competencies of a world class Process Engineer through rigorous acquisition and
deployment of best practices and metallurgical systems within Ore Processing plant environment
Minimum Qualification
Degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or
equivalent.
Registration with a professional body/institution will be an added advantage.
Experience in a mining environment will be an added advantage.
During the programme candidates will:
Get exposure to practical, hands on work experience in the relevant mine areas on rotational basis.
Get an appreciation for and apply relevant standards, policies and procedures in related fields.
Get appreciation of application of theory to practical technical situations.
Be accorded the relevant training and exposure to enable them to develop skills and competencies
necessary to subsequently perform substantive process engineering jobs competently.

Ability to plan and prioritize work accordingly.
