Africa Grant Advisors (AGA) is a premier financial and fundraising consultancy headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. AGA helps companies plan, finance, and execute innovation and growth projects, primarily in the energy, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors. AGA has helped firms in 11 countries in Africa plan significant expansion projects and raise over $100 million in debt, equity, and grants.
AGA is seeking an Associate Consultant to join its Dar es Salaam office. Candidates should have excellent finance, research, and writing skills, and experience managing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on financial and strategic initiatives, including by developing feasibility assessments, financial models, and research reports
- Support client capital raising by developing business plans, pitch decks, funding proposals, and related materials
- Research and evaluate suitable investors, funding opportunities, and other potential strategic initiatives for clients and prospective clients
- Assist clients with fund management, including systems analysis and design, investor and donor reporting, and change management support
- Research potential candidates for investment and funding opportunities
- Develop new business relationships for AGA through prospect research, communications, and networking
Qualifications
• Accounting or finance experience
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent research and analysis skills
• Living in or willing to relocate to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
• Prior consulting experience (preferred)
• Financial modeling experience (preferred)
