An outstanding position has risen for a treasurer and cashier officer to join a team of professional in oil company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing regular financial account reports and information on daily bases.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Issue receipt for payments received by the company.
Bank all monies received in company bank accounts
Prepare daily cash report
Maintaining and monitoring petty cash float at approved level
Preparation of payment vouchers for all bank accounts
Ensure proper approvals are obtained for all payments made
Advise the right payee recipients when sending payments
Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for recording of fixed assets
Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets
Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed
Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.
Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible and physical assets
Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries
Perform any other related duties as assigned may be assigned by the Supervisor
