JOB DESCRIPTION
Transport staff and visitors as instructed and ensure their safety and that of their luggage at all times
Ensure vehicles are well maintained, fuelled and serviced promptly and are in sound mechanical condition
Report any faults/breakdowns & accidents immediately to the supervisor
Maintain accurate vehicle records to ensure that all trips, fuel fill-ups, time and mileage readings are recorded
Ensure that vehicle road licenses and 3rd party insurance are valid and report upcoming expiries in good time (at least 2 weeks in advance of renewal) to have them renewed
Check vehicles for road worthiness each Friday and Tuesday
Recommend quality vehicle spare and tyre specifications to Administrative Assistant during bid Analysis and purchase process
Maintain and complete vehicle Job cards for repairs and service
