Role Purpose
- To be responsible for the company’s Profit & Loss, taking full ownership/accountability of all initiatives and results as a function of the holding group’s activities
Key Responsibilities
- Hit sales targets nearing $1M within the year and learn how to mobilize stock / inventory of material from on ground work shops and also importation of material stock, so as to control the level of capital tied into the business whilst making the business as liquid as possible.
- Work very closely with central functions at the holding group’s offices, for Finance, HR and management support.
- Understanding how forecasting processes work around managing a sales team.
- Manage operations, develop business as part as driving revenue and increase profitability for the company.
- Ensure teams are delivering excellent customer services, well trained and coached.
- Planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets.
- Deliver a business plan whilst protecting the cash position of the current business as it moves into becoming self-sustained.
Academic qualifications and Work experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree of Business Management, Sales Performance
- 5 years’ experience in East Africa Community region or Sub Saharan Africa or Tanzania
- A good deal of experience preferably in East Africa
- Experience in Sales, Construction, Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail-Consumer Goods/Services Franchises
