JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the position:
The Project Coordinator is expected to provide technical oversight in project programming with an emphasis on local value chain development for rice and sunflower and capacity building for smallholder farmers becoming entrepreneurs in Ulaya Area Program, Morogoro, Tanzania.
Additionally, the Project Coordinator is expected to lead relationship building with key stakeholders including market actors across the 2 value chains and work closely with the AP and Cluster Managers and the Resilience and Livelihood TP Team Leader.

Qualifications: 
Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

Minimum Qualification required:
Should have a university degree in Agricultural economics, Agribusiness, Rural Development or related field.
Possession of a Masters degree in these fields is an added advantage

Experience:
Should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the management of development work with an NGO operating at the Local or National level
Experience in the management of public grants
Prior experience with World Vision an added advantage

Technical Skills & Abilities:
Should have been involved in Project Design and Implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
Sound financial management skills and financial literacy
