Description
- Perform professional fitting /cutting jobs as instructed - Able to read blue prints; efficient use of materials and consumables; minimal repeated breakdowns; fitting done accurately; conformity with specification; demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations; decrease turnaround times; work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service; lays out, positions and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications using the appropriate tools.
- Check fitting equipment and report problems/repair as necessary - ensure quality repairs; ensure that the inspections are carried out according to the checklist; report all findings and visually inspect welds to determine compliance with standards.
- Ultimate responsible for safe working practices especially at areas of responsibility.
- Environment: Ensure environmental procedures are complied with, identify and manage the environmental aspects and impacts in his/her area and instil environmental awareness culture in his/her area.
