1. Chief Accountant
A paint manufacturing company located in Dar es salaam is looking forward to hire a Chief Accountant who will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting team
- Conduct all necessary trainings to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date
- Ensure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled
- Review corporate and personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy
- Advise business owners and individuals regarding the tax code
- Oversee the processing of state and federal payroll taxes
- Maintain current and garner new client relationships
- Monitor and mentor/train junior staff, clerks, and bookkeepers
- Uphold the excellent reputation of the firm
- Maintain constant communication with IRS, State Agencies, and our clients
- See that tax consults and on boarding procedures are in place for new clients
- Maintain highly organized and updated client files
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Experience from a manufacturing company is also a MUST
- Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in management
- Expertise working with Quickbooks/SAP/Tally and financial statements
2. Radio Station Manager
Our client is looking to hire a Station Manager for their Tanga branch to oversee the day to day operations of the radio station and its various sub-units. Participates in the development and administration of strategic and operating plans, and evaluates programs for compliance with the overall mission of the station.
- Oversees and coordinates the continuous, daily operations of the radio station, ensuring compliance with broadcast standards, and relevant country laws and regulations
- Maintains accurate schedules, records, discrepancy reports, and follow through communications, and ensures that all on-air broadcast programming complies with company rules and regulations
- Plans, designs, establishes, and maintains organizational structures and systems that enable staff members to effectively accomplish company mission, goals, and objectives
- Must have experience as a radio on air host and train new interns.
