Social Action Trust Fund (SATF) is dedicated to supporting Most Vulnerable Children(MVC) by channelling grants to grass root Organisations to reach out the beneficiaries. The current projects implemented include; MVC Education, Child protection, Community Empowerment, Sexual Reproductive Health for In-school Youth and Psycho social Support capacity building projects.
We are looking for a person to join our family as the Head of Programs, whose roles will be;
1) Liaison;
- Maintain a robust relationship between the Implementing partners, our beneficiaries, Government, Development partners, Partners and Players in Education and Health Sectors , Donors & Media
2) Supervisory;
- To spearhead the activities of the Program Department,
- Developing annual targets aligning with the Trust’s 5 years strategic plan,
- To conduct staff performance evaluations of your team, & provide capacity building on program- related issues to staff
3) Grants management;
- Initiating/designing and implementation of projects,
- Oversee the process of engaging implementing partners,
- To capture the utilization of grants and also assess the capacity building needs for implementing partners.
4) Fundraising ;
- Develop appropriate fundraising strategies,
- To oversee the development of promotional materials for the Trust,
- Maintain an appealing website & social media.
We are looking for persons with;
Degree in Social work / Social Sciences /Public Health/B.Comm plus at least 6 years’ experience at the Managerial position in an NGO set-up,
Good organizational and people skills, excellent presentation skills, solid monitoring and evaluation acquaintance,
Passion with working with marginalised groups and philanthropic heart.
Demonstration of a proven track record in Fundraising skills,
Fluency in English and Swahili languages,
