Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead creative direction in all video (and photography) production
- Develop digital video production as a service offering within the company.
- Conduct continuous research relative to their industry
- Conceptualize, create, produce and implement creative and cost-effective video and photography productions for online publications
- Understand and work within project parameters; client strategy, goals and requirements, internal goals, usability, technical constraints, as well as budget and schedule.
- Work with brand teams to develop creative concepts and directions for video (and photography)
- Build strong relationships with a network of external partners
- Participate in brand meetings internally and externally with clients when required
- Keep up to date on the latest design practices while making sure our design directions don’t chase trends/fads
- Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve our work
- Maintain a database of motion & sound effects and clips and computer graphics and stock video files
- Define and document best practices, workflow and standards and contribute to company knowledge-sharing effort.
