Roles and Responsibilities

• Contract drafting which abides the Zanzibar law and regulations for new recruits, renewals, trainees
• Providing new hires with appropriate procedure to legal bodies for the purpose of registration E.g. ZSSF, NHIF,CRDB BANK
• Writing Quarterly reports of the development in the Human resource department to the Shareholders
• Maintaining online attendance records, keeping and documenting annual leaves, Sick leaves, remaining holidays
• Dealing with Government officials like Labour and immigration officers, updating “The Immigration File” making sure all current foreign employees have an acceptable working immigration status
• Processing foreign employees immigration status E.g. Work permit, residence permit, business visa, temporary work permit, income-tax clearance certificate
• Scheduling HR related appointments
• Orients new employees by providing orientation information packets, assisting in filling in the recruitment form, company procedure, reviewing company policy, disciplinary rules
• Arranging educational workshops for the employees E.g. Health and safety training, English and Mathematic technical short course
• Drafting HR related documents such as Appendix, Contract Amendments, Merit increase, Mutual Termination agreements, Written and verbal warning letters
• Updating both Soft-copy and hard-copy files of employee credentials
• Providing Payroll inputs
• Orchestrating the purchase of employee gadgets E.g ordering gate passes
books, ID plastic strings, Sick sheets, Notepads
• Submits employee data reports E.g. ZIPA reports
• Notifying All employees via Email or Announcements on upcoming events E.g public holidays, Gatherings
• Maintaining quality service by following organization standard
• Contributing to team effort accomplishing related results as needed

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources and equivalent

Experience Requirements

• At least two years’ of experience
• Administrative Writing skills, Verbal Communication Skills, Consultation skills, Interviewing skills, Professionalism, Supply Management, Team work, Middle-man between Employer and Employee. Maintenance of Organization quality, implementation of Confidentiality.
