Reporting To: Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor- Structural Interventions
Job Objective:
Serve as an active member of the Sauti regional program team with the primary responsibility for monitoring, evaluating and reporting on CSO Structural Interventions implementation. H/she will serve as a mentor to CSO M&E staff monitoring and reporting on Structural interventions; coordinate Structural Intervention M&E activities and track progress on the implementation of the Sauti 5 year Sustainability plan

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with Sauti CSOs through the Sauti M&E coordination unit to identify and monitor Structural targets in compliance with the M&E plan,
Mentor CSO officers on verifying and auditing WORTH Savings and Loans banking forms/data collection tools (Savings and loans, forms, savings and loans journals, passbooks) and ensure that required data entry is completed within the expected timelines.
Verify saving and loans data from the CSO WORTH+ groups banking forms cross- referencing the WORTH beneficiaries register.
Facilitate the development of baseline and end line tools for assessing literacy (numeracy), micro-enterprise development levels and knowledge of WORTH+ group according to the relevant project timeframes.
Conduct Organizational Performance endline for CSOs and selected Local Government Authorities Performance
Gather and analyze structural data for the project M&E and facilitate the regular reporting of the data and results on a weekly basis to internal and external customers through development of customised reports
Periodically monitor the implementation of the Sauti sustainability plan
Prepare training materials and stories for posting on websites as requested by Sauti
Participate in drafting of structural interventions annual work plans under the Sauti
Compile regular status, progress and final reports regarding M&E training and support to CSOs
Collate data for Pact’s Global Indicators and Balance Score cards on CSO/LGA Organization Performance index and Savings and loans indicators
MERL system management: Contribute to the design of and implement with the Sauti M&E team a knowledge management system that allows program teams to review and analyse data and information on relevant technical areas as a basis for providing up to date information on impact, outcomes, outputs and inputs to program.
Support building a modern digital information management system allowing real-time portfolio analysis
As part of the Sauti M&E team, provide technical support to Sauti CSOs in developing reporting formats and communication tools
Support documentation of the results and impact of the structural interventions and its sharing with wider audiences through success stories, abstracts etc.
Assist in making sure that M&E undertakings and findings positively inform programming
Other work-related duties as assigned by both the Supervisors and related to Sauti M&E
Qualifications:
Bachelors or master’s Degree in social science (Sociology, Project Planning and Management, Statistics, Economic Planning or Development Studies) and other field(s) relevant to fulfilment of the duties and responsibilities as described above
Experience
Energetic team player with M&E Experience
At least three years of progressively responsible experience as a program development professional, with experience of working with CSO
Been involved in donor funded development programs
Skills:
Creative thinker
Ability to work in partnership with team members, partner agencies and community members of both the international and national communities
Training in Results Based Management (RBM) and/or Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
Computer literacy especially competence in MS Excel and Statistical packages and database management.
Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
Facilitation, training and public speaking skills
Strong Language capability in both Kiswahili and English.
