In keeping up with our current business needs, we are pleased to announce the vacancy for Revenue Accountant to be based in Arusha, Tanzania.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring of accounts receivable while managing the finances of the organization and keeping excellent financial records.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for debtors follow up as per the terms of engagement / contracts
- Reconciling all debtors and to send monthly statements and follow up payments
- Responsible for monthly reconciliation of balances between the Sales and General Ledger
- Produce monthly sales reports for Board papers / Management meetings
- Assist in ensuring Audit Requirements are met in relation to the sales and General Ledger Account
- Ensuring that all related party transactions within the group tally and meet the transfer pricing threshold as per the jurisdiction in question
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- Bachelor of Commerce (Finance)/Advanced Diploma in Accounting & Finance/CPA
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge with 3 years’ experience
- Knowledgeable in general accounting procedures
- ICT Adept. Proficient in data entry and management
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
- Ability to work fast and in an accurate manner
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to meet changing needs
- Complete discretion
