Nurse Midwives for OPD (ANO/NO) – 10 positions
Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the leading provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves as healthcare social enterprise and through development programmes the community and the most vulnerable. Committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs and is currently operationaling its Maternity and Newborn Wing.
In order to strengthen our Outpatient Department,
we are looking for Nurse Midwives (ANO/NO) who are eager to accept an volunteer placement for 3 months.
As volunteer
As a volunteer, the candidate will get the opportunity to explore, as nurse midwive the routine work in the OPD at CCBRT. This could be in any of the disciplines that CCBRT provides eg ophthalmology, orthopeadics, VVF, maternal and newborn health etc. The volunteer will be assigned to clinical duties under supervision of an in charge of the respective department. Furthermore, you will participate in a shift system which include nights and weekends.
During this placement, the candidate will be assessed for potential future job openings.
The candidates Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing/Midwifery
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills in English and Swahili
- Flexibility
- Multitasking
- Team-worker with client focus
- A pro-active attitude and eagerness to work
