The NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the post of Procurement Officer: Projects.
Under the supervision of the Head of Procurement of the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency or his/her delegate, the Procurement Officer will carry out Procurement tasks and support the PIDA Project in Liaison with the Head, Regional Integration and Trade Division and other Projects and NEPAD Corporate Procurements to ensure successful delivery of procurement services at NEPAD Agency

  13. Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.
Education and Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Law, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or related field. A CIPS Procurement Certification will be an added advantage. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of progressive professional experience in the field of Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Stores.

Remuneration: Indicative lumpsum pay of US$73,686.53 per annum or US$6,140.53 per month inclusive of other entitlements e.g. medical aid (80% contribution by NEPAD) and 24 days annual leave.
