Company Background
Sao Hill Industries Ltd operates one of the largest Sawmills in East Africa, producing high quality sawn timber as well as pallets, doors and other value-added products. The company is also the main supplier of transmission poles in Tanzania. Sao Hill Industries Ltd also operates two state-of-the-art timber treatment plants.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate shall have:
1. Bachelor in Business administration and Marketing
2. The candidates must have recently graduated or graduated not earlier than June 2016.
Duties
Business administration and Marketing
a) To assist in maintaining relations with customers and day to day communication with them.
b) To be active on calling, visiting and getting new customers and orders.
c) Assist in Tallying timber at the Yard when receiving and/or selling.
d) Assist in ensuring timely deliveries to the customers.
e) To support insurance of strict compliance to all statutory requirements.
f) To assist undertake analytical approach of Yard and company sales and make continues improvement to ensure best cost effectiveness and speed of work.
g) Assist in ensuring effective usage of machinery under your department and participating preventive maintenance.
h) Assist to prepare weekly/monthly reports and submit the same to the Management.
i) Ensure that all duties in the scope of your responsibilities are done in accordance to Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
j) To advise the management on matters related to your responsible area.
k) To do any other duties as may be assigned to you by the Supervisor.
