MAIN PURPOSE
To localize, implement and optimize the Vodafone Global Enterprise (VGE) marketing strategy in Africa and Middle East to enable the achievement of the Region business plans and targets.
JOB OBJECTIVES
Responsible for creating the Africa and Middle East field marketing execution plans by localising the Global Field Marketing Plan and defining appropriate customer segments.
Develop a tiered account-based marketing approach that improves perception and delivers the agreed Return on Investment
Drive all aspects of execution across the Marketing Mix, with a particular focus on regional reputation management, customer engagement and demand generation, by country to deliver the KPIs and targets.
Optimize all activities to maximize VGE Field Marketing budget and leverage external contributions where appropriate e.g. OpCos, Vendors, Partners.Engage and work collaboratively with all VGE Marketing functions and the local OpCos to plan & leverage existing activities and adapt effectively for the local markets
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Matric and a 3-year bachelor’s degree or national diploma in Marketing & Communications, *essential*
A higher degree or an MBA (desirable).
Experienced B2B Marketing professional (minimum of 8 years’ marketing experience in IT/Telco/High Tech) who has worked or lived in multi-country environments and has clear understanding of cultural differences
Proven responsibility for the creation and execution of successful marketing plans & localised campaign activities across multiple countries, industry verticals and languages
