Jassie & Co Ltd (JASCO) is a Pioneer Tanzanian based Construction Company founded in 1977
We are in search for an experienced Highway Engineer who shall report directly to the Project Manager and shall be required to execute the following job skills;
- To perform engineering design tasks for roadway and site civil projects from conceptual stage to final execution. This includes having a good working knowledge of the entire project life cycle
- Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, scheduling performance and problem solving
- Coordinate the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety and organization of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff
- Demonstrate Communication skills and maintain a close relationship with clients/consultants
- Lead and coordinate activities between staff, subcontractors, clients and prepare detailed daily reports
- Have a positive team oriented attitude and outstanding organisation skills
- Should be familiar with conducting Data Analysis, Quantity calculations, Drawings and Structural Analysis, Survey Data and materials Cross checking
- Proficient in MS office and should have similar experience in Road construction of at least 5 years with references
- Applicant must have Bsc in Civil Engineer or above and strong technical design background in highway engineering.
We are looking for a responsible Engineer who will be required to operate out of the Head Office in Mwanza on a full time permanent Contract
